Our Friends of the Poor chapter is part of the largest Christian women’s organization in the world. Their sole commitment is to serving the poor and needy in the Name of Jesus Christ. Our local chapter hosts monthly service projects on the first Sunday of the month. In addition it is active in serving the poor on a need specific basis.

Myrrbearers-"...women of St. Spyridon Orthodox Christian Church are committed to the service of intercessory prayer as a ministry team under the Philoptochos(friends of the poor) Organization of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese."
Men's Group
A men's
group is scheduled to start at St. Spyridon on Saturday, September 18th
beginning at 8:30 a.m. and ending at 10 a.m. The men will meet once a
month on the third Saturday at the Church's Fellowship Hall. We
will have breakfast followed by a brief devotional and discussion centered
around topics relevant to men. All men over 18 years old are invited and
welcomed. The group will be led by Arlen Sarian. If you plan to attend,

Religious Education
There are many opportunities to increase your knowledge of the Faith and to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ.
Bible Study
We host a weekly Bible Study on Tuesday mornings in our fellowship hall. This one hour study is focused on discovering the truths of our faith found within Holy Scripture
Wednesday Night Fellowship We gather as a community on Wednesday nights for prayer, a common meal, and religious instruction. Beginning at 5 pm we host a short chapel service followed by a common meal in our fellowship hall. After this classes are offered for adults and youth alike.
Church School
Our parish has committed to religious instruction for youth and adults using the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd model. This hands on interactive teaching model covers the main aspects of the life of Christ and its application in our daily lives.
College Outreach
Once a month we gather together for worship and fellowship on Sunday.
Worship and Sacramental life
St. Spyridon keeps a full liturgical calendar with many opportunities to encounter Christ through worship and prayer. The life of faith is made active through the Holy Spirit and the sacraments of the faith. Please see our calendar or contact the Church office for a full schedule of services.
